Thank you to those organisations who applied to the Green Infrastructure Fund.  We received six applications in the Lowland and Upland Scotland area. These have now been screened and have passed on to be assessed by our panel of assessors.

We have updated the guidance available on this website.  Several new documents are now available to download including the Assessment and Selection Procedure, the Assessment and Selection Criteria, the Eligibility and Assessment Scoring Forms and the Monitoring and Evaluation Guidance.

Living near to green spaces may reduce likelihood of death due to any cause, and especially due to cardiovascular disease, according to a new study. This review for the European Commission is the first to systematically evaluate the evidence linking green spaces to risk of death.
